Lifeguard Training

This 2 session Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course is offered by Ursus Lifesavers and Aquatics. 

The Professional Lifeguard Course covers 3 areas of training:
· Lifeguarding
· First Aid
· PCPR

When you pass the course you will be Red Cross certified in Lifeguarding, Professional CPR and First Aid for 2 years. All 3 phases must be completed in consecutive days with passing scores to receive your certification. The full program course is 2 days 8am – 6pm both days, plus the online portion. To attend the course, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be at least 15 years old
2. Swim 300 yards continuously, using freestyle and breaststroke
3. Surface dive and retrieve a 10lb brick from at least 8ft deep
4. Tread water for 2 minutes without using your arms or hands
